I'm not into the standard Santa Monica Blvd scene, I've tried it a few times, but don't really enjoy the music. I generally hit Miss Kitty's parlour, for dancing and meeting people. But I am looking for a great inexpensive bar where I can get out and find more like-minded girls.
Any suggestions? Where do you hang out, where do you go to meet people? (not just for sex and dating, but friends too, IRL)

I dunno, it doesn't lead to much though... :) I'm looking for a good bar to hang out at... one that is kinda a locals type place, but dyke filled.. :) -

I read Chris' recommendations to go to Oasis on Tuesday, Here on thursday (I've gone before, and I thought it was pretty fun), and to stay away from the Palms if you can help it (lol).
I was going to check out Oasis next Tuesday-does anyone want to meet up and hang out? I'd rather not go alone, but if need be I guess I'll psych myself out to go-but it would be more fun to find one of you who would rather not go to a bar alone to come with me and talk to. In a week or two I was going to try to make it to Girlbar-anyone up for that? I'd go to Miss Kitty's too but definitely not that one by myself! I'm too shy. Sort of.

But if you decide you want to go to Kittys, send me a message. I will go with you... I'm a regular there, and used to do photos for them. :) It's fun, but it can be a bit over the top... I don't blame you for not wanting to go alone, I don't like to either even though I know the Filthy Family and a lot of the other regulars there. :)
I wouldn't mind making it out to Girlbar one night.
